Jared Aaker

Jared has extensive experience leading high impact, high growth companies. He has held executive leadership roles in software, data analytics and nonprofits. He has also served as a senior advisor to multiple SaaS software companies focused on impact investing and ESG, including Novata and ImpactMapper. Jared was the CEO and founder of an early innovator in the ESG and impact data analytics software industry, tablecloth.io. Prior to Jared's work in the ESG software, Jared was the National Director of Strategic Partnerships for the MacArthur Foundation's education technology digital badging platform, LRNG.
Jared has also spent many years leading local and national workforce and economic development initiatives, as well as led economic impact research of the telecommunication, maritime, active and healthy lifestyle and craft beer industries in San Diego County. In 2011 Jared launched Connect2Careers which has helped place over 10,000 young adults in summer jobs and internships. He has also served on multiple nonprofit boards.
Jared is passionate about social justice, equity and access for all. He holds a degree from the University of New Mexico and resides in San Diego, CA.
If you really knew me you’d know that… Equality, inclusion and leveling the “playing field” is what drives me. I seek to provide everyone a “seat at the table”. I also am not a fan of ice cream or pizza.
I’m most passionate about… Raising my two sons to be great people and helping them develop grit and resilience.
